My wife and I came in for lunch and a cocktail. We love sitting at the bar.
We ordered the (2 for $22) which is not a bad deal considering you get an appetizer, 2 sides and two entrees when you order the steak.
You can opt for two side salads in lieu of the app which we did.
We both ordered the 6 oz. sirloin steak. The manager delivered the steak and asked us to check it was cooked to our likening,the steak was cooked to perfection.
Wow, it was so juicy and flavorful! I could not get over the taste of the steak.
For our sides we both had the steamed broccoli and for the other side the healthy" grains and rice. The sides were fantastic.
Service was AWESOME!! Our server Kimberly was at the Signal Hill location is now here at the Lakewood Location. She is amazingly attentive, always a smile on her face and handled our special requests perfectly with the biggest smile on her face. This is now our favorite location because of Kimberly. -

Service at the Bar was very good. Especially considering the bar was full and the tender didn't have any help. The steak was mediocre and the veggies were a bit unripe.

Do not go to this AppleBees ! It's freaking disgusting! The food has no flavor and we had the worst customer service I ever had in any restaurant . First the waiter took forever to come get out order and it wasn't even packed he was just dumb . Second when he brought or food he got all our order wrong ! Especially because we asked for my husband steak well done and they gave it to him medium rare and they also gave me his side of green beans and didn't give me the side I wanted ! I had also ask for my potato to be loaded but the waiter was just doing whatever he wanted with our damn order .Third was that while I was eating my food a fucken piece of plate came out in it hurt my teeth I thought it was a damn rock. The waiter we had was so dumb and in general my experience was really horrible here If I could give this zero stars I would but I can't !

This was my first and probably my last time at Applebees. The waitress was good but did not introduce herself by name so I don't know. The food was not good, had the sirloin steak with a baked potato. Potato was hot and good but the steak was much to be desired. The broccoli was cold also the steak. The potato was the only thing hot on my plate. I don't think Applebees will see me again. My rating for Applebees is a 1(one)

Special thank you for Evelyn, our server for yesterday. Evelyn was amazing from having our order as requested and suggest some good deals. Thank you for making my daughter feel special and for always be alert on our needs. The food was delicious, we will be back for more.
